About This Policy This policy describes what the application stores, where that information lives, and what happens when you choose to use features that reach outside the app. It applies to the Android application identified above and to the company that provides it.
The app is built to work locally on your Android device. The core workflow does not require an account, and the company does not operate a server that stores your scenarios or estimator inputs.
Information Stored on Your Device The information you enter and save in the app is kept as local app content on your Android device. Depending on how you use the app, this local content may include:
This local content is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow. The app does not require personal identity information such as your name, postal address or date of birth in order to run its estimator, although content you choose to type or save may itself contain personal information.
Local Content and What the Company Receives Scenarios, estimator inputs and generated summaries sit in the application's own storage on your device. The company does not receive them as part of ordinary use of the app, and there is no account history or synchronised copy held anywhere else.
The one situation in which the company receives information from you directly is when you decide to write to it. If you send an email to the address given at the end of this policy, the company receives your email address and whatever your message contains. That is ordinary correspondence and is separate from the information stored inside the app.
Exporting and Sharing Summaries The app can export summaries of your saved scenarios. Export is optional and always starts with an action you take. When you export, copy or share a summary, Android passes the item to the share sheet or to another application you select, and it then travels only where you direct it.
The app does not send exported summaries or scenarios to the company. Information remains on your device unless you choose to export, copy or share it.
External Actions Some actions open outside the app. In this application that means a browser, which may be opened when you choose to visit the company website at littlecare.co.uk. An external action happens only when you select it, and the service that opens operates under its own privacy practices.
The app does not automatically connect to any external service as part of the core workflow. Nothing is sent anywhere simply because you opened the app or worked through a calculation.
What the App Does Not Include The application does not include login or account registration. It does not provide payment processing or subscription functionality, and it does not include monetisation features.
Important Use Notice Outputs from the app are indicative planning estimates based on the information you enter. They are intended for informational and practical planning purposes only, and they are not certification, professional sign-off or regulatory clearance of any kind.
Budget and spend figures reflect only the assumptions you supply. They are not a quotation, price, offer or commitment from any childcare provider. The app does not show live nursery availability and does not make, support or record admissions decisions.
Nothing in the app constitutes legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice, and outputs should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or for confirming arrangements directly with a provider.
Retention Because the app stores its content locally, that content remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's local data through Android device settings, or uninstall the application. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them, and managing those files is up to you.
The company holds no copy of your scenarios or estimator inputs, so there is no separate retention period to describe for them.
Security Local app content is kept within the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Protecting the device itself, for example through the screen lock you configure, remains with you, and the same applies to any file you choose to export.
If you send the company an email, that message is handled through ordinary email systems and you should take the usual care about what you include in it.
UK / EEA Data Rights If you are in the UK or the EEA, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, such as the rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, where applicable under law. Whether those rights are available depends on the circumstances and on whether personal data is being processed.
Because the app's core workflow is local, information you create and save in the app is held on your device rather than transmitted to the developer, and you can usually manage or remove it there or by uninstalling the application. Where you have contacted the company directly, you can use the contact details below in relation to that correspondence.
Children's Privacy (13+) The app is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.
Changes to This Policy This policy may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in the way it handles information. When a revision is made, the revision date shown alongside this policy is updated. The version published with that date is the one that applies.
